Christmas Luminosity is making its grand return to Nelson Mandela Bay for the 2024-2025 season!

Dates: December 5, 2024, to January 6, 2025

Venue: Sun Park Arena, Broadwalk Mall Shopping Centre, Port Elizabeth

Time: 6 PM to 10 PM

Originally held at Victoria Park in 2019, this spectacular event is back and promises even more attractions than before.

This year's theme focuses on wildlife conservation, using the festive season to raise awareness about endangered animal species that require our protection.

The exhibition has transformed into the Glow Festival, inspired by the Sandton event in 2023, which dazzled with over a million lights, creating a stunning Christmas wonderland. Attendees can expect to see life-sized animal lanterns representing various animals, including marine life and birds, from around the globe.

Guests will have the unique experience of walking through a giant illuminated shark to enter the exhibition. The display will also feature glowing statues of prehistoric dinosaurs, lions, zebras, giraffes, polar bears, camels, kangaroos and more.

Included with your ticket are fun activities such as:

1. Jumping castle

2. Festive background music

Additionally, a range of family-friendly paid on activities will be available: from R50 per person per ride.

Due to limited capacity, tickets are expected to sell out quickly, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot and avoid disappointment on the day.

The Glow Fest Exhibition will be organized into 3 distinct sections, labelled A to C:

Section A: Christmas Wonderland showcases an array of oversized illuminated props and festive photo opportunities.

Section B: Magnificent Lanterns presents a stunning collection of life-sized animal lanterns from various regions around the globe.

Section C: Interactive Photo Booth offers a dazzling array of Christmas lights, allowing visitors to capture memorable photos with their own cameras.

Online ticket options are available in Silver and Gold. Please note that tickets for Section C can only be purchased at the event kiosk.

- A Silver ticket allows entry to one section of your choice (either A or B).

- A Gold ticket grants access to 2 exhibition sections (A and B).

- Tickets for the Section C Photo Studio will be available at the event on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability as this section usually gets packed.
